We have had a fantastic start to 2016 with our flame cutting and lumsden grinding departments as busy as ever. We have a range of flame cuts going through the shop at moment from one off flame cuts to batch production runs. In the photo below you can see a job we have finished recently which is being supplied to a manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders.
The flame cuts are from S275 mild steel plate. Overall they are 108mm x 100mm. We cut these from 35mm plate and then using our rotary lumsden grinders, ground one side to 33mm thick.
