Dear Customer;

The events over the last few weeks have without doubt thrown a shadow over the world with the serious issues surrounding the Covid-19 virus which seems to have engulfed us.

Here at the Malthouse Group of Companies we have continued to trade through this difficult period while seeing other businesses within our sector close. We have however through this period carried out our activities within a safe and calculated working environment based on the Government guidelines. But to this end we cannot ignore the significant increase in how the illness appears to be accelerating.

It is of the utmost priority to all of our staff and their families to ensure they are safe and well during this time and to play our part in helping to sustain the ever increasing burden on our NHS.

In conclusion to the above, the Management has taken a heart wrenching decision to close the business on a temporary basis with effect from 3rd April 2020. The closure will be in place for a three week period re-opening at 7.30am on Thursday 23rd April 2020.This however will depend on if any further measures are implemented by the Government.

Our staff will be put onto Furlough leave with immediate effect with office and managerial staff working until Friday 3rd April 2020. Once this period has passed we will come back both a healthier and stronger business enabling us to start where we finished off.

We know that this will effect orders that we currently have for many customers but please rest assured that we will be working over the next few days to complete wherever possible and deliver to you prior to closure.

Customers of whom have orders with us that we will not be able to complete prior to closure will be contacted by no later than Friday 3rd April 2020. At this point we will personally discuss with you the alternatives.

On behalf Of Malthouse, please accept our apologies for this untimely closure and thank you for your support, patience and understanding at this very sad time.

From all the management and staff at Malthouse, please ensure you stay safe and take care of your loved ones during these unprecedented times.

We look forward to speaking to you in the coming weeks.
